Boston Imperials Hockey Club Announces Open Enrollment for Town+ Program's Third Year

BOSTON, MA – July 28, 2025 – Boston Imperials Hockey Club today announced open enrollment for the third year of its groundbreaking Town+ Program, the comprehensive development solution that allows young hockey players to remain with their town teams while receiving elite-level training and competitive opportunities.

Since launching in 2023, the Town+ Program has revolutionized youth hockey development by eliminating the difficult choice between town team loyalty and advanced skill development. The program serves Mites, Squirts, and PeeWees divisions across the Greater Boston area and Southern New Hampshire.

"Town+ was created to solve a problem every hockey parent faces – wanting the best development for their child without sacrificing the community bonds and friendships that make town hockey special," said Dennis McCauley, Hockey Director of the Boston Imperials Hockey Club. "Entering our third year, we've proven that players don't have to choose between loyalty and excellence."

**Comprehensive 24-Week Development Program**

The Town+ Program runs from September through February and includes:

- 15 additional competitive games through tournaments and scheduled matchups

- Three premium tournaments included in program fee

- Weekly 1.5-hour StrideRight Skills Intensive sessions with professional coaches

- Monthly team practices led by Boston Imperials' coaching staff

- Zero conflicts with town team schedules

**Unique Coach Mentoring Component**

A standout feature of Town+ is its coach mentoring program, where town coaches are paired with Boston Imperials professional staff members for season-long development support. Town coaches receive practice planning assistance, skill development guidance, and the opportunity to assist during Town+ games.

"This isn't just about developing players – we're elevating the entire youth hockey ecosystem," noted the program director. "When we mentor town coaches, the benefits extend to every player on those town teams."

**Proven Results Drive Third Year Success**

Boston Imperials' development-first approach has produced remarkable results:

- 90% of program alumni make their high school varsity teams

- Over 30 players have advanced to college hockey

- Consistent skill progression across all age groups

- High retention rates among participating families

**Open Enrollment Now Available**

Unlike traditional club hockey programs that require tryouts, Town+ features open enrollment for any player rostered with a town program. No official partnerships between towns and Boston Imperials are required.

"We believe every motivated player deserves access to elite development opportunities," said Dennis. "Town+ removes barriers while adding tremendous value to the youth hockey experience."

**Registration Information**

Parents interested in Town+ for the 2025-26 season can register immediately through open enrollment. The program serves players within 50 miles of Boston, with particular strength in communities north of Boston through Southern New Hampshire.
