Team Program
The Boston Imperials offers boys and girls teams. Our program is designed for those players who are looking for advanced hockey development at higher levels of competition in order to be prepared to make their school hockey at the Freshman, JV, MIAA HS, or Prep School Levels. We have teams at multiple levels and seek to move players through these levels as they develop and are able to handle higher levels of competition.
The Boston Imperials youth hockey club serves families from approximately a 30-mile radius to our home rink in Somerville, MA. We draw players from cities and towns such as (but not limited to) Arlington, Boston, Belmont, Bedford, Billerica, Brookline, Burlington, Cambridge, Everrett, Medford, Somerville, Stoneham, Medford, Newton, Wakefield, Watertown, Wilmington to name a few.
We have strong relationships with the Town hockey organizations and offer development programs for players 14-below. For more information on these programs and more, please see our Town+ and StrideRight Skating Skills.

We participate in Showcases such as the BEAST Series, the Beantown Classic and a number of others.
Home Rink
Our home rink is in Somerville, MA. We utilize both Veterans rink "The Vet" and the smaller rink Founders.
The rinks are located at 570 Somerville Ave, Somerville, MA 02144.
Our secondary rink for additional practices is the Burlington Ice Palace in Burlington, MA at 36 Ray Ave, Burlington, MA 01803.
More Ice Time
We offer more ice time than traditional split season programs. We offer 3 hours a week so that teams practice 2 times a week for 1.5 hours each session. The first 1/2 hour will be a full ice team practice, followed by a 1 hour combined skills session with another team. The second practice of the week will be a full ice team practice, followed by a combined team practice with an older age group to prepare the players for Varsity competition.
Games
How many games will they play? What days of the week?
Split Season Teams will play 18-20 games with league and showcases over the course of the fall season. Full season teams will play 30-40 games.
Dryland Training
The Boston Imperials partner with DL Performance Athletics at Breakaway Arena in Tewksbury.
14U Full Season players will do dryland as part of their core program and older players can choose dryland as a tuition add-on.
